Learn about Lash Extensions

  • Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions are single or multiple strands of synthetic eyelashes applied to a single natural eyelash 0.5-1mm away from your eyelid. Eyelash Extensions create a longer, fuller, and bolder lash look. Unico Artistry carries multiple lengths, thicknesses, and lash curvatures. Your Lash Artist can create a custom set of lashes to complement your eyes and features.

  • The number of natural lashes you have and the type of look you’re trying achieve will determine exactly how long your appointment will be. Full Set appointments can be 120-210 minutes. Lash Refills, 1-4weeks (28 days), can be 45-150 minutes. During the applications you will lay comfortably with your eyes closed. Many ladies refer to it as their “lash naps.”

  • They’re for anyone wanting longer, fuller, bolder, and more beautiful eyelashes. With lash extensions, you can wake up everyday with beautiful eyes and little or no need to adjust your lifestyle. These lashes will actually become apart of your lifestyle. They’re ideal for everyday wear and special occasions.   • Indefinitely with routine lash refill appointments. We recommend ladies come every 2-3 weeks for refills to maintain the look. Typically you lose an extension every time your natural lash sheds out. Your natural lashes go through a shed cycle every 28-35 days, and new extensions can be applied as new natural lashes grow in.

  • Yes. Unico Artistry only uses products developed with high standards of safety. Lash Artists are credentialed beauty professionals who have successfully completed rigorous training and evaluation.

  • Ask your Lash Artist for specific instructions based on the type of lash extensions you’re wearing (Classic, Mixed Set, Volume). Also, you’ll be given an Unico Artistry After Care Guide. This guide contains general aftercare information and products to help extend the life of your eyelash extensions.

  • No! When properly applied, lash extensions are painless and shouldn’t cause any discomfort, during application and daily wear. Your lash extensions should feel soft, flexible and virtually weightless.

  • No! One of the major benefits of wearing lash extensions is that you no longer need mascara or eyeliner. The application and removal of these products can cause premature eyelash extension shedding and another Full Set appointment will be required. If you wear eyeliner, be sure to properly cleanse lashes before your appointment because makeup residue can will cause your Lash Artist to spend less time lashing. Dirty extensions will also compromise the bond of the adhesive to your natural eyelash.

Learn about Lip Blush

  • Lip Blush or Dark Lip Color Correction usually last 2-3 years depending on your skin type and lifestyle.

  • We offer numbing cream before and during the procedure. However, since the pain level is usually 3 out of 10, most of our clients prefer to go without numbing since it is easier and quicker to apply ink into the skin.

  • If you get lip filler, we require a minimum wait of 1 month before your Lip Blush appointment. We recommend getting your permanent lip enhancement before filler. Once your lips have fully healed, then you can get filler.

  • You and your artist will discuss which colors suit you based on your natural lip color. Once your lips have healed, you may still enhance or change the color of your lips at any time with conventional makeup. Your new lips are designed to act as a base color, so don’t throw out your lipstick collection.

  • The healing process takes around 5-7 days.

  • Ask your Artist for specific instructions. Also, you’ll be given an Unico Artistry After Care Guide. This guide contains general aftercare information and products to help your healing process and maintain beautiful results.
